Chancellor Robinson Reinforces Campus Values
March 7, 2022 -- The University of Arkansas remains committed to fostering a campus that always embraces and celebrates our shared humanity. We are one community and aspire for everyone to feel part of one community. Recognition of our unity and reverence for its importance is a source of strength for us. It is also one of our core values. The university does not waver from its steadfast commitment to these values.
In recent weeks, posters representing an extremist group whose values are wholly incompatible with those of the University of Arkansas were seen on campus. The recent discovery of additional material from this group is concerning, and I must be clear: We reject and oppose any efforts to marginalize people through the spreading of hateful messages. The safety of our campus is our priority.
