Have a Great Semester!
January 11, 2026
Dear Razorbacks,
Welcome to Spring 2026! Whether you’re beginning your studies at the U of A, graduating this May, or somewhere in between, we are glad to have you here and eager to support your success.
As those of you who’ve been in college for a few semesters know, there will be ups and downs and days when you question whether you’re progressing like you should. A difficult class, a disappointing grade or an exhausting week can make it easy to doubt yourself. The question is not whether challenges will arise, but how you will respond when they do. After all, success in college has far less to do with perfection than with resilience and persistence.
Each semester brings new opportunities, and I encourage you to be intentional about making the most of this one. Things like attending class regularly, asking questions and contributing to class discussions, meeting with your professors early and often, and getting involved in student groups will go a long way in ensuring your long-term success. The same goes for not being afraid to ask for help when you need it. Each of you has the potential to achieve great things during your time here and after graduation, but none of you are expected to “have it all figured out” or never need a helping hand. So, please reach out and take advantage of everything we offer to support your well-being and success.
I wish you a fun and productive semester. I'm confident in your ability to meet the challenges ahead and grateful that you are part of the Razorback family.
Sincerely,
